Position: Business Development Head - Healthcare Sector (Diagnostic Industry) Location: Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Head to lead our efforts in the healthcare sector, particularly focusing on the diagnostic industry. The ideal candidate will either be a native of Varanasi or have spent a significant amount of time in the city, possessing a deep understanding of the local market dynamics and networks. Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and expansion in the healthcare sector, with a specific focus on diagnostic services. Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, partnerships, and alliances to expand market presence and achieve revenue targets. Lead and manage various sales verticals including direct sales, channel sales, institutional sales, and key account management. Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders including hospitals, clinics, laboratories, physicians, healthcare professionals, and government agencies. Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs, and integrate findings into business strategies. Drive the development and execution of marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and product launches to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, finance, and regulatory affairs to ensure alignment and successful execution of business objectives. Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, market share, and profitability, and provide regular reports and insights to senior management. Mentor, train, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective goals, and foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or related field. MBA preferred. Proven track record of at least 7-10 years of progressive experience in sales, business development, or marketing, preferably in the healthcare sector with a focus on diagnostics. Strong understanding of the Varanasi market ecosystem, including key players, customer preferences, and regulatory environment. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective business plans. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for driving innovation and achieving business excellence.
